What are Royalty-Free Images and Videos?

Royalty-free images and videos are media that you can use for class projects. It gives you the freedom to share your work freely on the Internet as an original creation, assuming you follow the required attribution of the source. Most of the sources listed below simply required that you give credit to the creator of the media similar to how you would cite a source in an essay.

Why use it?

Using media that isn't copyrighted is a good real-world lesson that students will need to understand if they want to become content creators of any kind. Similar to how you would never allow students to publish their writing without citing the courses of their information, using royalty-free media and correctly attributing it to the original artist is the only ethical way to use music in original student projects.

Why how do I use it?

Below is an embedded Wakelet collection of websites you can use to find images and videos. Take note of the creator's name and title of the image because most of these sites require you to cite that information in your project. The first video will also show students on iPads how they can utilize this media.
